I'm overjoyed to share a piece of my heart with you – the "Remember" Collection has officially arrived! Let's take a gentle stroll through the inspiration and details.

From time to time I create space in my illustration work for clients and just run an illustration project just for myself. I love to draw, what’s in my heart, experiment with the illustration style, and also share the illustrations on posters, clothing, and accessories.

During these months, I am working on a new collection of illustrations and acrylic canvas paintings. Read about the inspiration behind the new series and uncover the secrets of the creative process. Prints and original artwork will be available in late October 2023.

Když se rozhlédnete kolem sebe a vidíte lidi na ulicích, v kancelářích, v obchodech, je vám úplně jasné, že celá civilizace zapomněla, jak tančit, jak se vyjádřit pohybem, jak se vyjádřovat z nevinnosti našich srdcí, duší a těl. Je to zřetelné na způsobu, jakým se pohybujeme, nejsme přítomní, jsme zapleteni do imaginárních příběhů, které běží v našich hlavách non stop. Drobné, neodbytné emoce nám odvádí pozornost a drží nás ve svých sítích každou sekundu, každý den. Nevnímáme ani to, že dýcháme nebo jdeme, protože vždy existuje něco důležitějšího, co vyžaduje naši pozornost.

When you look around and see people on the streets, in offices, and in shops, you can clearly see that the whole civilization has forgotten to dance, to express themselves with beautiful movements, to express from the innocence of our hearts, souls, and bodies. It is so clearly visible in the way we move, not being present, entangled in the imaginary stories that go on nonstop in our minds. The little itching emotions take our attention and keep us entangled every second of our days. We do not even realize that we breathe or walk because there is always something more important to focus on.

In the background, I hear the familiar sound of the coffee machine, signaling the arrival of my coffee. I sit “here, cherishing the first sip. I cradle the cup, feeling its warmth in my hands. Listening to the sounds around me…

With this illustration, I'd love to support the free spirit of women. We are taught how we should behave, and what we should follow, but by doing that, we often repress our spirit.

The spirit wants to fly, wants to be free, and wants to express itself. But we are afraid, so we play a game, and during the game, we lose our energy and forget how it feels to fly.

Picture this: you've had a long day at work and all you want to do is come home, kick off your shoes, and sink into your favorite sofa. You grab a steaming cup of tea, wrap yourself in a soft blanket, and light a few candles to create a cozy atmosphere. As you sit back and relax, you feel the stresses of the day melting away. And here comes the new word I’ve recently learned: This is the essence of hygge.

During a winter retreat in December 2022, my friend Naropa introduced us to the poems of Mirabai. My heart was immediately set ablaze by her unwavering devotion, love, and heart-centered spirit. Her poetry reveals the power and pure nature of things. When you open your ears, eyes, body, heart, and mind, the truth in her words becomes available to you. You can hear the sweet song that will linger with you forever. That was my meeting with Mirabai, and I invite you to experience it for yourself.
